I liked the book, it was well-written, of course, but as a romantic I couldn't deal with the resolution of the book in the last chapter. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth, much like I am about all world events following injustice. Aaaargh ! Now I'll have to dig out "Lassie Come Home" to put me in a good humor
